Half Marathon Training Week 3
In spite of lack of morning umph after a crazy weekend. I got out and got the run in. Stats: 7.32 min for 0.5 mile. 15 min 1 mile. 22.30 min for 1.5 mile. 29.50 min for 2 mi. 30 min for 2.01 mile.
This week has been an off week for me. Started out great with the run, inspite of no umph, and was looking forward to my next run when the temps are going to be in the 50’s, yeah never happened. By the time of my next run my sleep was off and no motivation to go running. Even my long run, 5 miles this week, which I didn’t want to do either. I don’t mind running in 20 degrees weather but dealing with ice rinks, big ice patches, I don’t care for…….. And dealing with the slip and slides I was expecting it will take 2 hrs to do and not the 1.5 hours that I was figuring.
Well needless to say I got my 5 miles in just under 1.5 hours even with walking and running slow because of the ice. Stats: 9.46 min for 0.5 mile. 19.02 min for 1 mile. 28.3 min for 1.5 mile 38 min for 2 miles. 45.55 min for 2.5 miles. 53.50 min for 3 miles. 1 hr 1.40 min for 3.5 miles. 1 hr 9.45 min 4 miles. 1 hr 17.48 min 4.5 mileS. 1 hr 26.31 min 5 miles. After an off week and little bit of a crazy day at work with over time, it felt good to get the run in even though I walked part of it.
