Half Marathon Training Weeks 14 – 16

Week 14, three weeks till Race Day. 7.55 min for 0.5 miles. 14.38 min for 1 miles. 21.26 min for 1.5 miles. 29.30 min for 2 miles. 36.33 min for 2.5 miles. 44.31 min for 3 miles. 51.37 min for 3.5 miles. 59.08 min for 4 miles.

Week 15, two weeks till Race Day. 8.09 min for 0.5 miles. 15.41 min for 1 miles. 24.04 min for 1.5 miles. 31.50 min for 2 miles. 40.40 min for 2.5 miles. 48.21 min for 3 miles. 56.44 min for 3.5 miles. 1 hr 2.55 min for 4 miles. 1 hr 12.30 min for 4.5 miles. 1 hr 23.30 min for 5 miles. 1 hr 31.10 min for 5.5 miles. 1 hr 40.50 min for 6 miles. 1 hr 48.40 min for 6.5 miles. 1 hr 57.59 min for 7 miles. 2 hr 7.13 min for 7.5 miles. 2 hr 15.51 min for 8 miles. 2 hr 25.13 min for 8.5 miles.
Was planning to finish the last 3.5 miles even I took walks so I could finish. Close to 8.5 mi my left left ankle started to roll, don’t full know if I just stepped wrong or I was stepping on a angle that I didn’t know that was there. I walked little on it and ran the last 0.2 to finish off the 8.5 and it feels fine. BUT with this being the last MAJOR long run before the Half Marathon Race, 4 miler next week. Made the call to cut it short and make a possible over streatching of the ankle muscles into a bigger injury where I can’t run.

Week 16. Few days before my 4 mile run I was counting to see how many days that I have left till Race Day. 9 Days, not including the The Day! 9 Days, 216 hours, 12960 minutes, and 777,600 seconds till Race Day. Well life happened and never gotten around to get the run done.
