Somewhere on the Trail #3.

Use your imagination. That rocked looked like a sad wolf or a dog. (Trees don’t really help)

Well hiking in the Hiker Bubble is hard finding room in the hiker hostels and shuttles to and from the trail. Everybody is full and busy. This stretch mentally I have been having some good days over bad days but still have some rough times. With few days out from Dicks Creek Gap I hit one of the first big mile stones, GA/NC state line. Excited? Not really, I was in little of a slump that day.

One state down!!!

Then shortly after that was the highest mountain that I have been on is 5478 feet of Standing Indian Mountain with Albert Mountain just a couple of days behind with whooping 5250 feet high. The views on both mountains where just gorgeous views but with one it has set off my my fear of heights, no it wasn’t Standing Indian Mountain. Something about going up Albert Mountain and have to free style rock climbing with a pack that weighs about 30lbs and steep as well. On the bright side I was able to calm myself down to keep going but still little unnerved to fully in joy the next biggest mile stone ever!

Albert Mountain after a steep hard climbing

100 mile maker!!! Say What! Two big mile stones and rock climbing all in the same week?? Yup! Rest of the trail into the two night stay in town to skirt some freezing temps was easier with some harder spots that slowed me down little bit but I managed to get through them.

2,093.1 miles left. Like whose counting.

Q&A time coming up, if you have questions comment down below.
